If you’ve ever heard of King’s Kratom, you may or may not be aware of all of the confusion on internet discussion boards, such as the popular Reddit kratom forum, r/kratom. The main question of concern is “what happened to King’s Kratom?” Well, in order to address the question of what happened to King’s Kratom, it’s helpful to first dig a little deeper into the company.

In our updated King’s Kratom review, we’ll discuss the company, its reputation, its claims, its range of kratom products for sale, and its customer reviews. Was King’s kratom a good place to buy kratom, or was it sketchy all along? Let’s get into it.

What Is King’s Kratom? The Company at a Glance

Kings Kratom Review Buy Kratom

Although the current King’s Kratom website didn’t offer much information about it, from what we could gather online, King’s Kratom was founded in 2017, and they launched their online kratom store in spring 2018. The kratom company was based in both Utah and West Virginia.

Although the kratom market has become highly competitive, King’s Kratom stood out from other kratom startup stores by gaining name recognition within just a couple of years. It does seem to be the case that King’s Kratom took a strong marketing strategy approach to attract visitors to their website since they became somewhat notorious for their boastful claims about their kratom for sale, which some found sketchy.

The company launched a new e-commerce website called Visitkingskratom.com in 2019, but the domain name for that site is now empty. More recently, they changed their domain name to Buykingskratom.com. If you visit the site, you’ll find that it’s a mess of poorly-formatted text and SEO keywords.

Among the jumble of words on their current website, these are some of the marketing claims the company promotes:

  • “The world’s strongest kratom online”
  • “The world’s most potent kratom”
  • “KING’S KRATOM products contain an average of 4x more and up to 20x more 7OH (kratom’s primary and most potent alkaloid) compared to the market average (.200% – 1.000% vs .050% 1)
  • “100% PURE WILD HARVESTED KRATOM LEAVES NATIVE TO INDONESIA”
  • “literally the world’s most potent and the world’s freshest kratom!”
  • “Guaranteed Unmatched Potency! 3rd party Lab Tested to Verify Mitragynine & 7-OH content!”

It’s clear reading through these claims that they can be problematic not only for customer transparency but for federal legislation. Places that sell kratom are not allowed to make health claims, and we must be careful about how we cite studies to avoid breaking the FDA’s guidelines. Kratom is an unapproved herb, therefore kratom vendors have to be careful even when citing studies, or they can be shut down by the FDA. King’s Kratom takes a lot of liberties in their website.

Furthermore, some customers are wary of marketing terms such as the “most potent kratom,” which can be misleading. In general, if your business offers kratom for sale, it’s best to avoid making marketing claims that you can’t substantiate with multiple sources.

When you look for where to contact King’s Kratom, you find an address for Paseo De La Castellana, Madrid. Since the vendor is not based in Spain, it’s uncertain what customer service is available there. So, what’s up with King’s Kratom? We’ll dig deeper in our review.

Can you still buy King’s Kratom for sale even though their two websites appear to be down? On Buykingskratom.com, their “place an order” page is down. Currently, you cannot buy kratom at Buykingskratom.com.

Formerly, King’s Kratom offered a variety of different kratom strains for sale, in either powdered form or as kratom capsules. Some of their most popular strains that King’s Kratom used to sell were:

  • Green-vein Maeng Da Kratom
  • Super Red-vein Maeng Da Kratom
  • Red-vein Bali Kratom
  • Gold-vein Maeng Da Kratom
  • Green-vein Malay Kratom

However, the company was more well-known for its more rare kratom strains, including one called “Slippery Rock” and the “Ultimate 7-Hydroxymitragynine Kratom” which King’s Kratom claimed possessed a higher concentration of the alkaloid 7-Hydroxymitragynine.

King’s Kratom also sold a type of kratom strain that they called “Every Strain, One Vein” which they described as a potent blend of multiple kratom strains within the same color vein group. According to King’s Kratom, their kratom strain processing methods produce some of the strongest kratom for sale online.

Since such claims are hard to substantiate, King’s Kratom cited lab tests to reveal the alkaloid concentrations in their different types of kratom strains, stating the following:

“We are the world’s first kratom company to manufacture kratom with a 7OH potency level that is 20x higher than the kratom market average 7OH level (1.000% vs .050%). On March 18th, 2020 KING’S KRATOM made world history when we received ISO 17025 Certified Laboratory analysis results documenting the highest 7-OH alkaloid content ever measured!

According to NIH.gov, the typical amount of 7OH found in kratom is .050%. Our kratom typically has around 4x times more 7OH (.200% vs .050%) and has tested as high as 1.000% 7OH content which is 20x times higher than the typical levels found in kratom!”

According to the website, King’s Kratom’s products came in clear UV-ray blocking bottles to “protect” the 7-OH kratom alkaloid content. They also put batch number holograms on each kratom product for sale “at the end of the manufacturing process to give a level of quality control like never before,” as well as to deter counterfeit King’s Kratom vendors.

Backing up their claims to sell the best kratom online, King’s Kratom offered a “customer for life guarantee” which guarantees that their kratom “will always be the world’s freshest, world’s strongest” and if not, “each & every batch will be loved or replaced for free.”

Yet, customers are struggling to contact King’s Kratom, so what’s the deal? Is King’s Kratom misleading its consumers?

Kings Kratom Reviews, Customer Service, & Reputation

Customer reviews of King’s Kratom are quite mixed. Common complaints regarding King’s Kratom are the disappearance of the website, sketchy management, and spotty customer service. The reviews for King’s Kratom products are also mixed, with some citing their kratom as quality and others calling it poor quality.

On October 2021, in one recent King’s Kratom review, one Reddit Kratom user said in r/kratom:

“Has anyone ever heard of KingsKratom before? He seems to have taken down the site and disappeared but it was THE best Kratom anywhere in the world and I’ve tried hundreds of sources/strains whatever…just wondering if maybe somebody knew what happened to him…name was Sterling tucker”

Another King’s Kratom review on Reddit (from one year ago) mentioned the poor customer service:

“Kings Kratom not responding: Edit and update: It came today I feel stupid. This is the first time though I have ordered anything online priority and never got a tracking number so it seemed very odd

Update Edit: The second batch he sent was trash. He pulled a bate and switch on me. Don’t order from them”

That being said, the owner of King’s Kratom has released YouTube Videos and Soundcloud recordings in which he addresses his user base. Apparently, he runs King’s Kratom by himself and has run into difficulties selling kratom legally. You might be wondering, “what happened to King’s Kratom…for real?‘ Just tell me already!

What Happened to King’s Kratom?

In our King’s Kratom review, we scoured the depths of the internet to find out what happened to King’s Kratom, the upstart kratom vendor from 2018. While we can’t give you an official answer, here’s what we know:

  • The King’s Kratom website domain has changed multiple times in the past few years
  • The owner of King’s Kratom has run into legal difficulties (according to his own words on his website)
  • The King’s Kratom website makes claims related to the benefits of kratom, and other FDA-restricted statements.
  • King’s Kratom claims to have the most potent kratom on the market, but their data proving it is not totally transparent.
  • A Reddit user has claimed that King’s Kratom’s lab tests are fake.
  • Kratom Crazy (a company that was shut down for fraud and false health claims) has recommended King’s Kratom

Last but not least, our internet research has indicated that the owner of King’s Kratom has claimed to market kratom as merchandise, which would mean that while he won’t be subject to the FDA restrictions placed on kratom companies, he is breaking the law by committing fraud. This is a similar situation to why Kratom Crazy shut down, and no kratom advocate should condone it—for the sake of kratom users across the US.

We have looked for FDA-related documents on King’s Kratom and its owner, but we have failed to make a connection. We have also encountered some evidence on kratom Reddit forums that indicates that he may have started another website that sells kratom online (with a new domain name) but we cannot say for certain.

Final Verdict: Is Kings Kratom Good?

After what we’ve learned in our King’s Kratom updated review, we cannot say for certain what the fate of that kratom turned out to be. While we can sympathize with the difficulties that kratom vendors face, we have to say that the best way to sell kratom is legal–in all aspects. No, it might not seem fair that kratom companies still face banking restrictions despite selling a legal herb, but it’s not necessary to break the law to sell kratom in a state where kratom is legal.

The fact of the matter is, citing scientific studies is not enough to support kratom health claims. Summarizing scientific studies is not an acceptable way to claim that kratom can serve as an herbal alternative to traditional medicine. In total honesty, the kratom industry suffers from a lack of clinical studies. We lack the scientific evidence required to accurately assess kratom’s benefits or risks, and which one outweighs the other.

If an individual believes that kratom is safer than opioids and not addictive, that will remain only their opinion in the eyes of the law and the government agencies that enforce it. It does not constitute evidence for kratom’s safety, nor does it change the fact that kratom is an unregulated botanical that comes with the risk of potential contamination.

We understand that people are frustrated that the FDA disapproves of kratom. However, the best kratom vendors understand that their hands are legally bound when it comes to what we can say about kratom. Just as foolish as it is to believe misinformation about kratom, it’s foolish to cite kratom research to discuss the benefits of kratom without making a disclaimer about the botanical when FDA laws require it.

Be Careful About Where You Buy Kratom

At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter what Reddit claims to be the best kratom vendors or the best places that sell kratom locally. If you want kratom to remain legal, and if you want to support kratom research, it’s important to support kratom businesses that actively fight against kratom misinformation, without breaking the laws or making the kratom industry look sketchy.

To the owner of King’s Kratom: Wherever you are, please research how to sell kratom legally. If you can’t manage to avoid making health claims about kratom online, don’t sell kratom. Personal stories about kratom experiences can be discussed in online forums, but as kratom vendors, we are held to a higher standard. It is just as important to follow legal guidelines as it is to offer high-quality kratom for sale at low prices.

We’re currently revamping our kratom blog section to make it more transparent for the user. Our kratom brand reviews are undergoing updates for 2021 so that you can get a bigger picture of what the best places to buy kratom are and where not to buy kratom.

If you want to buy kratom in bulk, we offer bulk kratom for sale at wholesale prices here at Buy Kratom Bulk USA. We lab-test our kratom and source it directly from Indonesia.
